Planning resources effectively to aim at reducing costs and increasing competitiveness is a problem that every business always faces, especially in the current integration period. Enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is considered as a management solution based on IT application platform bringing great efficiency to businesses which leads to an increasing need to deploy ERP systems in enterprises (especially ERP solutions of foreign software firms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, etc.). With the motto of training associated with social needs, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) has developed an advanced training program specializing in Enterprise Resource Planning System to provide the market with high-quality human resources capable of consulting and implementing solutions in actual context of domestic and foreign enterprises.
Program objectives
Training learners of bachelor’s degree in Management Information System, majoring in Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) to achieve necessary knowledge and skills to advise domestic and foreign organizations and businesses on implementation of the ERP system as well as to actually participate in the administration and operation of that system.
Achieving knowledge
In addition to the general knowledge of Management Information Systems (such as: Databases, Programming Bases, System Analysis and Design , etc.), learners will be equipped with in-depth knowledge of ERP system implementation project management, consulting on selection of ERP solutions in enterprise management activities (such as production management, financial management, supply chain management, sales management, customer relation management, etc.).
Career opportunities
Graduates of this major can work as consultants for solutions to deploy, operate, and manage ERP systems in domestic and foreign enterprises.
UEH is closely linked with businesses (especially alumni’s) specializing in providing ERP solutions, such as: FPT, Microsoft, Global CyberSoft, etc., which is an advantage for learners after graduating from UEH.
